I cant do pull ups
trsupraNov 1, 12:06 PM
I've been exercising regularly for three months, and despite doing negative pull-ups and dead hangs, I still can't do a single pull-up. I can't feel the strength in my back to do one. What should I do? I weigh 83 kilos and have a 24% body fat percentage. I can do 12 reps of lat pulldowns with 45 kilos. Is my back weak, or am I just not used to the exercise? My twin weighs 70 kilos and can do 7 pull-ups. My friends started working out after me. They can now do four pull-ups from zero. Can anyone with similar experience or knowledge enlighten me and help me?

Look up Australian rows and spam those for a solid week then try to do a pull up

Are Australian pull ups inverted rows? I did them for 2 days but didn't see much benefit. Should I continue doing push-ups like this? Additionally, while doing negative pull-ups, I can do them with my arm strength, but I cannot do them with my back strength.

When you do lat pulldowns, increase the weight until you can do 5-6 reps in a set, and then the next time you train try adding another rep (progressive overload.) Also try buying a resistance band and doing assisted pullups with it

I was shamelessly pulling with two resistance bands. But my reps weren't increasing, so I finally went negative. Even with lat pulldowns, I couldn't do a proper progressive overload. I don't know if there's a problem with my back, but I couldn't feel any traction in my back. My form was good
