Chicken legs? Any proof of someone actually getting bigger thighs?
superrenzo64Oct 22, 6:47 AM
I've got chicken legs. Long distance runner toothpick legs. I'd like to see some pictures or video of someone's transformation to know what's possible with their genetics and workload. And I don't consider muscle definition to equal bigger thighs. I mean transforming toothpicks to tree trunks. I saw a video of some guy squatting a sh*t ton of weight with skinny legs like mine. There were comments about his muscle fibers or something and it made me think that even if I doubled my squat, my legs are just genetically thin. Especially the more I became aware of natural body lengths and geometry and stuff. Ive seen gains in my entire upper body. And I know I'm hitting it harder and more frequently and consistently than my legs. But still, any transformation video I see, the guy in the before picture has bigger legs than me with obvious visible potential to grow larger. And I want to know what's practical for a guy like me who isn't going to devote an insane grind to gain 1 inch on their thighs. Everyone I know has bigger legs than me and some of them never played sports or worked out.

I think genetics has to have something to do with it. I have gotten much stronger with calisthenics but I don't think I have gotten much larger.

a good diet and good effective excercises and you will most definately grow your legs.. unles you genetics are abysmally fkd which i highly doubt BUT wont be reaching connie level legs either

I'm confused how you think muscle growth works You think they get more defined but they stay the same size? People with huge legs are born with huge legs? Are you just referring to bodyweight training alone? Strange post

Yeah, it happens. You didn't mention your age, but I knew alot of guys struggling to grow their legs until like 22 years old. Maybe 21. I grew alot then too, just in general. Keep at it, they'll grow soon.

I've never seen anyone with big legs doing bodyweight fitness alone. Only seen people with big legs pushing big weight. Lots of leg press and squats.

You’re better off going to the barbell for legs

I disagree, body topology And morphology very dramatically in this species I know exactly what he means in his comment you don’t understand.

Do any of the rugby , sprinter or cyclist work outs and your legs will grow. Or heavy deads and squats and eat more protein. That simple.

It's genetics My thighs were 23 inches before I even touched a weight or did any resistance training. Ironically my legs are 24 inches and I can barely squat 3 plates, my coach has 22 inches and can squat 4 plates for reps easily.
